Meet The DoctoRS 

Edward Chun, D.D.S.
Dr. Chun attended The Ohio State University Dental School and received his D.D.S. degree in 1994.  He then did his endodontic residency at Temple University where he received his Specialty Certificate in Endodontics in 1996. 

Dr. Chun has been in private practice for over 20 years and spent the past 13 years at McLean Endodontics, LLC.  Before starting McLean Endodontics, Dr. Chun was an Associate Professor in the Graduate Endodontic department at New York University, where he instructed future endodontists.  He also was in private practice in Poughkeepsie, New York and then Rockville, Maryland before moving to McLean.

Dr. Chun is a member of the AAE (American Association of Endodontists), ADA (American Dental Association), VDA (Virginia Dental Association), and NVDA (Northern Virginia Dental Association).  He is involved with many local dental study clubs and has given many lectures to his peers.  He has been recognized in Washingtonian magazine, Northern Virginia magazine, Virginia Living magazine, and Washington Consumers’ Report magazine as one of the top endodontists in the Greater Washington Area as voted by other dentists.

Dr. Chun was born in Seoul, Korea and grew up in Toronto, Canada.  He now lives in McLean with his wife Lisa, who is a psychiatrist practicing in Rockville, Maryland, and their two kids, Ashley and Alex.  In his spare time, he enjoys all sports and is an avid golfer and a member at TPC Potomac.  On weekends, he loves spending time with his family, watching his kids play sports, and following his Ohio State Buckeyes.  Go Bucks!!!

 
STEPHANIE WU, D.D.S.
Dr. Wu graduated Summa Cum Laude from University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. She then earned her specialty certificate in endodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

During dental school, Dr. Wu volunteered for Remote Area Medical, Give Vets a Smile Day, and Give Kids a Smile Day to provide dental services to populations with limited access to care. She also conducted research on dental biomaterials and has been published in the Journal of Dental Research. She has presented her findings at the International Association for Dental Research Annual Meeting, American Association for Dental Research Annual Meeting, National Institute for Dental and Craniofacial Research Dental Student Conference, and the Buffalo Niagara Dental Meeting.


Dr. Wu has previously worked in private practice in Boston, Massachusetts as well as taught in the Predoctoral Clinics as an Associate Clinical Professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She is a member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), American Dental Association (ADA), Virginia Dental Association (VDA), Northern Virginia Dental Society (NVDS), and an inducted member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. She is proud to represent other dentists in Northern Virginia as a delegate to the VDA House of Delegates. In addition, Dr. Wu is also board-certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Wu now lives in Great Falls with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys art, yoga, running, trying all cuisines of food, and exploring the museums and monuments of DC.
